‘Tis the season for giving back, and Uber London is not going to be left out of the holiday spirit of giving. Many people get to enjoy days off for the holidays, but National Health Service (NHS) workers are not among them. In 2018, over 400,000 NHS workers spent Christmas Day helping others rather than spending it at home. These men and women are critical to keeping the public happy, healthy, and safe all year long. Uber is saying thank you to NHS workers and helping them get around with a tummy full of food this holiday season.
Getting to and from work can be a hassle during the holiday season; especially for those working on the holiday. To ease the commute, Uber is offering two £10 Uber codes for a free ride or two £10 Uber Eats codes for free meals while at work. The codes are good any time during the week of Christmas from December 23 to December 27.
The only requirement: an NHS email address.
If you or someone you know is an NHS worker, head to www.uber.com/nhs. Through this site, you can enter your official NHS associated email address to claim your Uber or Uber Eats codes. In order to claim your codes, you must submit your email address by December 20, 2019 at 9:00 am.
This marks the third year Uber is offering codes for rides to NHS workers. It is the first year they are offering codes for Uber Eats. Food is just as important as getting to and from work during the holiday season!
