Have you had a bad experience with an Uber or Lyft driver? Unfortunately, not all drivers are as wonderful as can be and reporting these drivers is an important way to keep drivers accountable and keep the Uber and Lyft platforms aware of what is going on within their company.
There are a variety of reasons you would need to report an Uber or Lyft driver: an accident, poor driving, rude, or any number of reasons. It is also possible to report an accident as a third party if you are witness to something that happens. Most incidents will be reported by the rider through the app or website.
It is fairly easy to report drivers as a rider. Reporting can be done straight through the app. All you need to do is navigate to your ride history, choose the desired ride, and submit your complaint directly through the app. If you choose to utilize Uber or Lyft's websites to make a report, there is a form you can fill out with all the information about the incident. This takes a little bit more time, but can be easier depending on the situation. Uber has a page dedicated to trip issues and adjustments. This page contains a large amount of information allowing the user to navigate to a specific page or form depending on what kind of incident needs to be reported. Lyft has a basic request form, which needs to be filled out so they can contact you directly.
If you are reporting as a third party, it is important to have as much information as possible about the incident and vehicle involved. The location of the incident is important. Making note of the vehicle color, make, model, and license plate is a vital part of the process. This makes it easier for Uber and Lyft to pinpoint the car and driver involved in the incident.
Uber and Lyft have helped people around the world get from point A to point B in a safe and timely manner. Unfortunately, issues arise. To keep Uber and Lyft safe and drivers accountable, riders and bystanders can and should report any accident or incident of unsafe driving. It keeps drivers, passengers, and everyone else on the road safe and sound.

I would like to report Lyft driver picking up underage kids. It happened in Westmont, Illinois on Saturday, September 14, 2019 between noon and 1:30 p.m. Pick up was near 63rd Street and drop off in Lagrange, Illinois. Please find out who driver was that drove. They were two kids around 14 or 15 years old. That driver should be fired.
I would like to report an UBER Female Driver. Incident happen around 5:15pm PST driving along US Highway 101S. Driver proceeded to lane change with using her signals and almost side swipe my car. I honk my horn to let her know that she almost hit me. But she just flipped me off. License Plate# 8KPK302 Car Make is Silver 4 Door Chevy Malibu. Female driver seems to be a Middle Eastern descent. MY concern for this erratic driving behavior, is because i have minor passengers in my vehicle. This Uber Driver needs to be reprimanded and educated of rules of the road as states in the driving handbook.
Maroon car, license plate #:GJP0936. This lady was going at least 95 on the highway & kept cutting cars off. She almost caused AT LEAST 3 wrecks (that I saw within a 5 minute period) near the Wexford exit in PA.
This occurred in concord calif. The sequence of events occurs at 2:19 on the left lane. There is an older mustang following a silver GMC suv. After crossing the intersection/light the SUV starts to apply brakes (with no cars in front of his, this was an indicator that the driver was lost) and then the SUV decides to try to get the middle lane as the mustang has already entered. The SUV has now turned on their right turn signal as I am approaching and then accelarates and cuts me off.

He then passed me, swung in front of me (almost clipping my fender) and then slammed on his brakes. I had to take evasive action.
He then made me exit the carpool lane, then he rode beside us (pacing us) for a mile before we exited.
When he was in the carpool lane he had no passengers!
Very aggressive driver. Feared for my wife and myself.
Did nothing to this driver. His mad max tactics have made me vow to never take Lyft. Is his behavior your new policy????

I would like to report this Uber driver I went to thehospital with my mom. And this guy would park so far away and my mom couldn’t walk that far we waved him down so many times and he would stare at us and not come to us. We finally waved him down and he came to us mad and whispered I don’t know why you guys didn’t fucking walk he was extremely rude and he canceled the ride.

In the spand of a 15 min driver, Joy, asked my son if he did drugs bc she could smell pot in the car. He laughed it off, when she replied “I guess it is coming from me STILL” and proceeded to imply to him that she is cool with drugs and they were simply on her mind bc she was “looking” to buy something!!! He was shocked and freaked out, considering this was his first time EVER using a service like such, he’s 17 and drugs terribly him, he is more into books and a loner which this incident only furthered his outlook on not going out!! Honestly, I’ve been wanting my son to venture out, still do, but this incident just made things worse!! He also allows other family members to use the vehicle to drive people in Camden at times there's 3 Singh Men that drive for Lyft in that vehicle.but only one that's registered with Your Company. Check out WHO you.Employ. they also have another vehicle registered to drive for Lyft in PA. They finally fixed that one so it would pass the PA inspection. I would like to report a reckless driver in Anaheim California. Driver was tailgating, swerving in and out of traffic as well as cutting people off at a high rate of speed on local streets. He even tried to push me out of a lane. The driver was male driving a red Toyota Corolla license plate 7v07675. When he saw me trying to get his information through my rearview mirror he got so close to my bumper when the light turned green for the turning lane he zoomed around me and cut off another vehicle. This is unnecessary driving a poor judgment.

I would like to report a Lyft driver this evening he almost drove myself and my baby off the side of the Road on hwy 12 near lodi, ca driving towards Rio Vista. He was in such a hurry to go nowhere. License plate 8NEJ463. Black Honda Accord. He was going at least 70 in a 55 when he past me. This makes me not want to use Lyft because of people like this.

Lyft driver parked in my driveway. when asked to leave by my son, he got out of the car and called him names. I went out and told him not to talk to my son that way and to leave. He told me he had a right to be there and began recording me. Called me a bitch numerous times. I called him an asshole and again told him to leave which he did not. The driver with plate number juz9k. Is an idiot driver and does not know what he's doing. I didn't see the driver inside they're driving this little car and they slammed on the brakes when a yellow light came on and stopped instantly when they could have just gone through the yellow light and they would have made it in plenty of time there still would have been time for people behind them to go through but they almost caused a serious accident and then as I followed them for a while they just look like they were all over the road and scared to death to drive. ROAD RAGE DRIVER IN DENVER - This woman is clearly not to be trusted as a driver! She was driving like it was her last day on earth and didn't have a passenger but the purple Lyft light was illuminated on her front dash. She cut me off anytime there was a few inches in between myself and another vehicle. I witnessed her cut several other cars off as well. She was swerving from lane to lane back and forth to get just a bit ahead at any point. Then we turned on to 6th avenue highway. If your wait is longer the 10mins you cancel an order a new lift an report that your lift was 2mins away from you for 10mins plus an just keep it moving lady . Don't waste your time an then get upset
I was cut off by a uber driver at city hall in Philadelphia going downtown. This guy was road raging an dam near him me an one other car . The vehicle of the other car had to stop Abruptly and move out of the way of oncoming traffic and got stuck while he keep going speeding down market ! Looked us both in the face so it's not like he didn't know what he was doing ! To top it off he had a passenger aswell , drivers like this shouldn't work for uber if you have road rage ! I was driving in Saddle River NJ on a road where the right lane merges into the left. A black Dodge SUV came up very fast behind me knowing the lane was ending and tried to cut in front of me. He ran out of lane and forced me dangerously close to a median. He drove on my back and twice crossed the double yellow lines and into incoming traffic to pass me. He was behind me for miles and on my tail the entire way. I saw the Lyft sticker on his windshield then took his plate number. NJ either S79 or 579 - JCC Black Dodge SUV. Reported to police. Yeah I was just left at a speedway gas station when I had requested a round trip from my home to the speedway and then back home, on top of that it's pouring down rain, and he told me he had another ride that's why he left. I was stranded at a gas station when I paid for a round trip, I had 3 32 oz drinks in my hand and four cups of ice trying to run in the rain and chase after the Lyft driver just so I could get home and now he isn't even going to get in trouble because he just told me to cancel a ride and left it at that and now that it's canceled I don't even show the ride ever existing but I've been charged for it. And I have no way to get this driver in trouble better yet fired.
I would like to report a Lyft driver that was driving dangerously. He was riding my bumper screaming and shouting because I wouldn’t speed and run a red light. Then he got over in the other lane screaming at me. Then he continued to swerve in and out of other vehicles because they weren’t speeding. This was in Charlotte NC going into Gaston county NC. Chicago Lyft driver plate # R461224 refused a ride with my baby infant, got out the car started threatening violent racist African that don't like white people. Refused ride left us in the rain outside, the whole time I thought was gonna kill my baby or something crazy.
