As a Lyft or Uber driver, can I choose to only give rides to friends and family?
Surprised no one has mentioned CarGo

I have to say, it's surprising Uber hasn't taken a greedy route and just allowing multiple cars to be dispatched.
random marketing fake news.
I totally remember that. We had a discussion in business school about this too.
It turns out that people are actually not that lazy to go shopping on foot for daily items and groceries. It also turns out that people are expensive. Riding a bike can solve some transit problems in densely populated areas, but having a dude ride a bike, run up stairs to drop off a few items just does not translate to a profitable business.
Yes, in case you are going to tell me that there are grocery delivery services, I will mention that those companies all currently lose money.
Right, protected by law. That's where a doctor's note comes into play for your pet being an "emotional support animals." What a time to be alive.
Younger, because business people and older gernations use Uber. the old school.
What did they do to improve it? Streamlined it? sounds like a great improvement.
If legal, buy a mace or pepper spray.
Install a divider between the front and rear seats.
I love it how the artist randomly put greens all over the building to cater the environment conscious audience.
I can actually see this being a scam by the driver. In fact, I know this happens because the clean-up fee pays very well.
I mean check out the fees Uber tacks on. This entire amount is passed to the driver.

and what's wrong with that? Good drivers will be flooded with work, and bad drivers would have the incentive to improve.
This question gave me an idea. And now I'm sort of mad Uber doesn't have this feature.
People, riders and drivers alike, should be able to filter by ratings. Like one would claim, he would only accept rides from a 4.6 and up. We can do this when purchasing products on Amazon or from vendors on eBay. We shouldn't have to "reject" the match ups.
He just needed a "One more thing..."
Maybe this will promote competition and the rates will fall farther and hence helping the consumers.
So it's up to the discretion of the driver? Doesn't that mean I have to keep getting hitched a driver but i can keep getting my rides cancelled? How does that work? Seems pretty inefficient.
Also...I know there won't be a cancellation fee if I cancel within the first 2 minutes, but wouldn't that give an incentive for the driver to NOT reply to you for 2 minutes?
I'm sorry but I thought UberWave was a lot cooler before I read this article. I thought it was like Uber for surfer or something.
