Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
OP, that's definitely not from the UBER site, someone did a nice Photoshop job on a Facebook group. Would be a great April fools joke for drivers. 😆
In Los Angeles you can take them anywhere, geofencing is a great idea. They’re starting it by not allowing the rider to end the ride on the app until the scooter is in a designated drop off zone. But that kind of defeats the purpose of using a scooter.
That was his third purchase in two months in Los Angeles, he bought a 10 million and a 15 million house in May in Hollywood Hills. He's worth 4.1 billion, he is flaunting it. Karma is a bitch though.
I just interviewed a veteran taxi driver from Florida, in fact his story is going to get published within the next 10 days on couple of blogs. Maybe, you're next?
We're getting paid peanuts because the drivers are expendable like yesterday's newspaper and we allow these evil companies to treat us like dirt.
No BigFrank, shit up and drive is for cars, but they did start Uber Copter from Manhattan to JFK
They better make some money soon, otherwise their stock is going to sink like the Titanic hitting an iceberg.
Texting and driving is worse than DUI, it's ridiculous that the laws are not heavily enforced. Start writing $1000 tickets, it will go away real fast.
It's not the same as UBER or Lyft pool or shared rides, as you said they can have it.
😆 I like trash Tuesday, I don't take anyone below 4.60 unless It's a 3x surge oe at LAX
The thing that bothers me as a driver is that these scooter riders act like they own the road. A lot of them will end up in emergency rooms if not worse.
Getting things done around here, more changes to come, seems like a lot more activity on the forum.
FYI, editing the headline of a thread is fixed.
Exactly, then the next rider dings you for a dirty car. It's to check everything when it's busy and they're stacking pings.
Then we'll create a an app called UberLice 😆
I've been short Lyft since 78 and will be keeping that position for the foreseeable future.
Yes in San Diego, they confiscated close to 10000 of them, now Bird and Lime are suing them, 😆
I'm sorry, it was the wrong link. Upon further digging, he actually bought 3 within couole of months, correct links above.
Foot massage for the dog? 😆
Taxi?
