The bike option is already available on the Uber app! Right now I think it's only in a few locations, but it seems to be growing. It's supported by JUMP.

Bringing a dog with you in an Uber is like bringing a drunk friend! I don't want the responsibility - or to pay for the mess if something happens.
That's the goal. Ultimately, what the biggest companies are trying to do is change the way our economy operates with self-driving cars. That's how they will make the most money and have the biggest impact on society.
Unfortunately, there is not a way to do this in the Uber app. Uber will update the price after you enter your second destination and confirm the itinerary, but there is no way to know how much it will cost beforehand. Hopefully Uber will follow Lyft's footsteps and update their feature, but as of now, there is nothing you can do ahead of time.
No, Uber does not pay for security systems for their drivers such as in-car cameras. This is an investment you will need to make on your own and decide if it is worth it.

You can call a service that will book your ride for you, which is pretty much the same thing but it will cost you a bit extra (most of the time depending on how expensive your fare is).
We have an update for you! Uber just changed their policy so you can no longer change a driver rating after it is submitted. How frustrating! If you submitted a really bad rating for your driver, maybe try submitting a complaint to Uber in your trip receipt and explain the situation to see if they will make any exceptions.
You could always call your credit card company ahead of time to let them know you are traveling. (This is best practice anyways, even when not using a rideshare!)
You should be able to seamlessly use in different countries. See this advice shared in a previous post:
Yes, if you have an account in one country, the same app and same account can be used anywhere else in the world. (...though we have heard there are some exceptions in Southeast Asia where the payment methods are different.)
Here's a statement from Uber and also useful advice:
Uber is available in a growing number of cities around the world. If a city you visit has Uber, you can request rides there just like you would back home. Please note that your phone will need access to Wi-Fi or cellular data.

Yes, self driving cars are becoming a reality. There are already a handful of companies that are in the space competing. Waymo (which used to be part of Google) has been developing their technology for self-driving cars since 2010.
This article will give you more information on the topic:

It is likely that the driver accidentally stated he was at the location when he was still on the way. Maybe try contacting uber and see if they give you money back
I think that would depend on the driver. I would hate to have someone smoking a cigarette in my car because it would smell. I'm not sure about vaping because I'm not sure if that smells. But all of them could distract the driver if the smoke is spreading around the vehicle!
And don't forget, Uber also has requirements for how old a vehicle can be.. so even the UberX cars can be very nice vehicles! UberBlack is certainly top-of-the-line though.
It's great that there are so many niche rideshare services out there like those for children. It's really adding some diversity to the rideshare industry. With that being said.... not sure if I'd ever let my child get into the car by themselves. Not with everything happening in the news. I know it's not common, but still, I'm not comfortable with the slightest chance.
I also find it really interesting how Uber and Lyft initially give people 3 options to tip! I've heard some Uber drivers complain about how there is a $1 option, saying that this is insulting to them. Part of me thinks they should just leave an empty field and let the customer choose what they want to tip without being swayed!
You can check your rating through the Uber app. Click on the menu, and right under your name you will see your rating out of 5 stars. If you notice your rating has been going down since you've brought your puppy, maybe try to give your driver a call before you enter the ride. Some drivers appreciate the heads up when you will be bringing a dog. Uber's policy is that pets are up to the discretion of the driver -- so it may be that your drivers may not have approved of the pet. You can easily solve this by letting your driver know ahead of time, and asking if you have permission :)
Hi there! What questions do you have? Feel free to ask them here!
Uber and Lyft are the main services that allow booking ahead of time. If you want to take an Uber, follow these instructions to book your ride in advance. Similarly, if you want a Lyft, use these instructions.
