Guilty of assault? Wanna drive for Uber? No problem, as long as it was eight years ago...
Is it just me or is this a bit lax. "The paper reports that Bivines was charged with assault in …
Suitcase is usually a good sign. If you're in a place where the airport is far away.
I mean, it just depends on who gave them more money, doesn't it? The GOP and Trump are 100% bought.
Only an idiot would buy either one. Hello, they are both hemorrhaging money people.
Yup me too. Exactly that.
I don't pick people up with stupid obviously fake names. If you want to be clever you can do it somewhere else but not in my car.
The problem is lawyers... They'll put together a lawsuit for anything. It's all gravy for them.. and, liability is all screwed up and placed on the wrong parties. But our lawmakers are all lawyers so this will never get fixed.
Fox news being Fox news...
So this law basically says every driver has to put some sort of barcode on their window? And it applies to anyone who wants to pick up in NJ? I mean as long as Uber makes that available to whoever might need it (ie. not just NJ drivers but also people like you who are based outside of NJ but want to pick up there), I don't see a huge problem with it. Yeah it slows things down a little but it should help with the imposter problem...
def try not to road rage. nothing good comes of that. I try to just remember we're all in it together. even when someone is a jerk, it's probably because they are miserable so I give them a little space and forget about it. Really helps get through the day.
There is no way to choose your driver explicitly. You have to play the game where she requests the ride, and you try to catch it before someone else does. Not that hard to do though.
It's silly. Helicopters are really reliable.
Not to state the obvious, but have you looked into whether there is a bus that does that route?
I dunno, drones can be pretty nasty sometimes too.

Well, actual bullies don't view their victims as human anyways, so technically I do think this is possible...
I doubt it. Uber is shady, but that is really shady. I mean, bordering on illegal IMO...
If this isn't a metaphor for what's going on in ridesharing today I don't know what is.
I didn't drive in LA but I drove east coast. It was easy to make money. The market for drivers was not saturated like it is now. It felt like you could quit your job and make a nice living driving for Uber, being your own boss. Uber was the good guy. Good times. Mid to high five figures was possible if you drove a lot. I knew it wouldn't last.
A lot of people figured that out real quick and joined in. So here we are.
I saw a thing recently about how there used to be lots of helicopter services from the airports to building tops in manhattan. Pretty neat. But in 1977 there was a crash on top of the Pan Am building, and that was the end of that.

This is so MESSED UP. This guy needs to be put in prison. For the rest of his life. At best...
He didn't even have a license! How the hell did Uber hire him.
