What should I do??
Fair Leasing is working with Uber but they appear to be a scam operation. Last year they took $853.14 from checking account. I didn't even have a car lease or account with them! I have been in contact with them for two weeks trying to resolve this issue. The CA office says they don't see a record of the five withdraws from my checking account. The AZ office which used to be Xchange leasing is now (I suppose hard to get a clear answer) Fair Leasing part of Fair Leasing in CA. I did lease a car from Xchange and returned it 11/15/17 in perfect condition and received a return fee for it. The company Transaction Description was "FAIR ACQUISITIONS". Did any other drivers get ripped off like this?

So you rented their car in 2017 and you are still dealing with this?
Also, you say, "last year." You better get on that or everyone will claim they don't remember the incident and you will never be able to reverse it. I feel like speed matters here.
I am fairly sure Uber's XChange was sold to Fair along with the deal for them to operate as partners. (are they still considered exclusive?)
Gosh, sorry to hear this. That's just awful, and it sounds like they don't even know what they are doing.
Umm, no, I don't have any experience, but you gotta call your bank and stop those withdrawals, man.
This is why I hate providing bank account information. There is less mechanisms in place to stop vendors from taking your money. This is why there is a huge benefits in using credit cards where you can.
Right, you can't even change your account number like you can with Cc.
