How do I ban or block drivers I do not want to be matched up with? I heard drivers can do the same with riders?
The Guru Take
Uber and Lyft both have algorithms to block driver-rider pairs from historical ratings.
Yes, Uber and Lyft both have logic in their platform to block certain pairs of drivers and riders from happening.
This "block" can be generated by drivers OR riders rating the each other at a low star rating. (1-star for Uber and 3-star for Lyft) This prevents riders from being matched up with certain drivers (and vice versa) on future trips.
(Note: Uber and Lyft do not fully divulge what the actual criteria are for a pair to be blocked.)

Sounds like they do nothing to prevent encountering drivers we know who work for Uber/Lyft and are less than reputable people. We are FORCED to ride with them 1st BEFORE you can stop worrying you'll never encounter them again. Thanks for always keeping our safety in mind!
How would you know if a driver is bad without taking a ride with him (or her) first? I think if Uber app allowed that, there’d be racists and bigots all over the place blocking everyone he doesn’t like.
Or a sexual predators blocking ever male driver. You don’t want riders having too much control...
In smaller town, you may actually know the drivers and their reputation. What if your friend told you to not take a ride with some creepy dude?

when the undesireble driver accepts, you could just cancel immeditely and re-request in hopes of getting a different driver
Inspite of giving a poor rating and also very unsatisfied with an unruly rider ..i am continously being paired with the same rider.. how to I block him plz guide me

If you are referring to her not being able to see you on the map, remember, she doesnt see ALL drivers near her.
Lyft will NOT pair you if your location is too close. This is to prevent people from arranging rides outside of the platform or taking street hails.
If you're on a ride and the passenger wants to continue to a second location, they need to change their destination, then add the first location as a stop.
