Apparently, the man knocked on a car window around 1 a.m. Sunday in Queens, thinking it was his Uber ride. The driver got out of the car and punched him in the face; the man's head hit the pavement when he fell back. Sadly he passed away from the injury.
What a turn of events! Just thinking that this is your Uber ride and boom your knocked out. People are nuts.

This wasn't an Uber driver. The headline is a lie.. OP needs to fix this it is really misleading.
Oh jeez!! I wonder how they figured out the man thought it was his Uber driver....
The real question!!! Maybe they looked at his phone and saw that he was waiting for uber. Or maybe his actual uber driver showed up a few minutes later and was like WTF just happened here. can you imagine his surprise to find a dead guy at his pickup spot.
JOURNALISTS. Can you please stop putting "Uber" in a regular story and calling it a trending news?
This is not a trend.
I am NOT the type to exclaim "Fake news!" but I will admit that journalists think a news tory is more of a news when they label it as Uber driver.
There are literally like a million rideshare drivers in the world and somehow they are not allowd to rob banks or drop babies on their heads.
LOL. NO, drivers aren't allowed to rob banks or drop babies on their heads. I know what you mean though.
The guy got out of the car and then punched? So it wasn't some sudden knee-jerk type reaction?
That's manslaughter in my opinion.
Ummm, link?
is there a link on this?
Knocking at a drivers window is rude and for that he lost his life. This story is similar to little moron who was thrown into the fountain in Manhattan. The first person paid the ultimate price for something not worth dying for.
Well that is depressing..
