In light of the recent severe tornadoes in Kentucky and Tennessee, Lyft has activated their LyftUp Disaster Response program. LyftUp is a Disaster Response program that Lyft first introduced in 2017. LyftUp provides access to free and discounted rides for those who need it most.
Through LyftUp, Lyft partners with leading nonprofits to help provide free and discounted rides to riders who lack affordable, reliable transportation. Some of LyftUp’s main initiatives include helping voters get to the polls, helping low-income households get access to nutritious foods, getting people to work, and helping after natural disasters.
Currently, Lyft users in Kentucky and Tennessee can access LyftUp as a means of transportation to designated shelters. Rides can be accessed using the code TORNADORELIEF21, which is valid for 2 rides up to $15 each. This code will be active from now until 12/26 at 11:59 p.m. Lyft does advise that users first check operational hours and availability before visiting the shelters, and following CDC guidelines when going to a public disaster shelter.

Fiduciaries must also manage tenant screening processes. By ensuring that only reliable, credit-worthy tenants are approved, how long do receiverships last they protect property owners from potential financial losses due to unpaid rent or property damage.
