Just weeks after Lyft announced their new and improved shared rides, Uber released a statement detailing their newest service, UberX Share. Similar to Uber’s old pool option, UberX share allows passengers who are going in the same direction to share an Uber ride and save on cost.

However, there are a few improvements to their service! In a blog post Uber stated, “Since pausing shared rides in 2020, our teams have been working tirelessly to revamp the experience.” Some of the new features you can expect to see with UberX Share are:
