Our team here at RideGuru always looks forward to the Uber Lost and Found Index report each year as some of the “findings” are quite hilarious, not to mention bizarre! Uber's "super-app"

Uber is making some big changes in their quest to become a travel “superapp”. Uber announced on Wednesday that they are now adding trains, buses, planes, and rental cars to their U.K. app. This is all part of a new pilot program that Uber hopes to expand to other countries in the future.

Uber will not be providing these additional travel services themselves, instead they will be acting as a middle man. Through partnering with various other transportation companies, Uber will allow users to book the additional transportation options on their app while contracting out the services to local providers. …

The New and Improved Lyft Concierge Service

Recently, Lyft announced an expansion to their Lyft Concierge service. Lyft Concierge enables organizations within the Lyft Business portal to schedule and cover ride costs on behalf of a patient, employee, or customer.

Now with the new added benefits, Lyft Concierge riders will enjoy extended safety features and an overall enhanced experience when they open their rides in the Lyft app. More specifically riders will now be able to access multi-language support and advanced security.
