Uber probably does this depend on demand, or drivers willingness to accept certain ride types. It makes sense. Just another way Uber controls the way we work.
She was carrying around a big box 📦 with scurrying creatures. I didn’t actually see them
For her sake, I hope they were kittens.
Someone tried to give me a kitten once. I swear the person wasn't joking.
Actually, it may have been a chipmunk.
Just for your sanity, the drivers are asked to put their masks on BEFORE they go online, i.e. start their shift. So technically, they are supposed to have their masks on during the entire shift. I do not know what percentage keeps their masks on or not.
Here's what Uber says. I did the highlights. Basically, the checklist must be completed before every ride.
Before you can go online to drive or deliver, you will be asked to confirm, via a new Go Online Checklist, that you’ve taken certain preventive measures. The Go Online Checklist includes steps such as having on a face cover or mask, that you have sanitized your vehicle or food delivery equipment, and that you will not allow anyone to ride in your front seat.Riders too will be asked to confirm they have taken certain precautions like wearing a face cover or mask and washing or sanitizing their hands before they can ride. They must also agree to sit in the back seat and open windows for ventilation. In addition to the Go Online Checklist, prior to going online and accepting trips or deliveries, you will be asked to verify you are wearing a mask by taking a selfie wearing it. While you are enroute to the pick up location, your rider will receive an in-app message confirming you completed the verification of wearing a mask.
You mean like Bolt Protect.
Sadly that has happened to many of us
Wait, is this right?
The rider has five minutes to cancel. Or was it 2? I think that clock starts after a driver has accepted the ride.
And if the driver cancels while you wait, then you shouldn’t be charged the cancellation fee. Of course the exception is if the driver is already at the pick-up location and you aren’t there.
Oh, yeah, I remember the god mode, where they were chasing celebrities and x-girlfriends into their homes.
Check debit card vs. credit card for your payment method
You mean this? Too soon...too soon...
On a similar topic, do riders even see surges as multipliers anymore? Or is it all upfront pricing?
Great answer. Thank you.
Please do not disseminate garbage like this. Internet is already too crowded with idiots
Like driving for uber was not degrading enough.
You are correct. The longer drives pay far better, brother.
I love it how you describe like this is normal. LOL
Very true. It may be Oakland.
Yes, but New York Posts knows they are publishing BS all the time, so in some ways...
CA is very huge.
Then again San Francisco and Los Angeles are six hours away, so I also call BS on this claim.
I think they have the words twisted. Maybe they’re saying they drive four hours each way for a total of four?
There goes Lyft again trying to confuse the drivers. So confused that no one knows they are getting boned!
