How reliable is Uber for early morning pickups to airports?
I always thought it was for a higher rating. and yes, they are right.
Genius. Why couldn't we figure this out before?
Sort of reminds me of this video skit. "1 page book on don't spend money you don't have"
Yeah, thank gosh. I thought it was going to tell me Lyft was about to do something before Uber. Haaahaaahaaa. That'll never happen.
I actually noticed the same thing. Kids are definitely using it for sport. How fun is it to ride it and beat it to the ground. It's only $1!!!!
...and do you know what's best? If they broke it, they can apparently claim it happened AFTER their booking was over... because...well, they just leave it there. (I asked one teenager who just left it banged up on the side of a fire hydrant.)
You mean SHUTTLE. Oh, wait, you are right. That rhymes with CUDDLE.
Was that intentional? sounds a bit creepy.
That's gonna be a tough one. All private companies. Certainly not making any profits.
You may be able to derive them through # of drivers and # of rides if they share any of that?
I don't think you are supposed to drive with it. Just when you are parked.
Is there a single Uber or Taxi driver that are pro-Trump?
"You better hope I don't find anything in your car."
That's pretty much a confirmation that police officers do indee plant things in people's cars.
Welll, like I said in the past, the whole industry will collapse back into a single entity. Taxis and Ubers will come together. At the end of the day, physical cars, drivers, apps, and people are all fluid. They will go to whatever services are dominant.
So, in a few years, they will all be the same. That rest is about what people will be calling it.
$20 TACO!!!! LOL.
Yeah, man. Stop complaining. $19 for sitting there idle (engine off) sounds like an awesome deal.
Thanks! So it looks like you take the drive approach. These are all things I didn't know.
I am actually not a driver but I just looked up Fare Pilot app. IT says it enables you to locate where the customer hotspots are. I mean, how in the hell would they know?
You sound like an experienced driver. So you check FlightStatus app, Amtrak and Greyhoud schedules, etc. etc. Man. This requires massive skills. Do you drive in a rural area or city?
There are lots of these affluent Uber ambassadors who make a killing as semi-drivers. Their secret (?) isn't so much to drive but to refer other drivers. There is significant opportunity for income there.
I can think of two. One is Joseph Ziyaee who used his personal network to spread his referral code.
http://www.businessinsider.com/how-uber-king-joseph-ziyaee-uses-driver-referrals-to-make-money-2016-2
The other is some college kids who made six figures handing out business cards with Lyft rides on them.

and, of course, the famous TheRideshareGuy who signs up thousands of other drivers by guiding people to
Yes, expected. Lyft copies every move by Uber. Smart move at that.
poor uber drivers. can't get a break.
thes crooks targetting already starving drivers who make less than minimum wage.
They don't even describe how they differentiate from the others, even though they are given the chance. They got $1.5M in funding, so I'd like to hear the pitch. There must be something, right?
The dude basically says, "we are not corrupt like Uber." That's a pitch but that isn't good enough.
Create dress code for the drivers. It doesn't have to be overly nice, but maybe maintain a certain level of standards?
and maybe hygiene
well, it is a bicycle.
because they don't have any targeted skillsets. they don't have other choices.
..or I can be more PC and say that that's what their career path is and has been. Many have driven for taxis in the past, and others have driven for limos.
Is it guns who kill people or is it the people
