Uber Now Allows Drivers to Leave Feedback for Passengers
They could always leave us ratings but now they can leave us feedbacks. I thought passenger rating pretty much meant … -
Do taxi drivers convert to Uber/Lyft drivers?
Can you imagine a cleanup fee on a bloody mess you may leave?
yeah, but many drivers prefer NOT to carry dogs. There's a pretty big feud on this stuff. Courteous riders would tell the drivers in advance, and then they realize half the drivers would cancel on them. Reasoning is how the dog can smell up the car or leave hair behind. Hard to blame them I guess.
Isn't this the way to get infinite uber/lyft rides? at least the way they say we are supposed to?
so basically you are saying it won't work.
Sounds reasonable. If you also have the Uber app, and you guys are both logged in with the same account, you can track her location as she takes the ride. It's a good way to keep an eye on her and her safety. There are some car services for kids, but they are few and far between.
...but Uber started that war, in attempts to destory the competition and to own the market (i.e. monopoly). Lyft followed suit. Now they are both massively losing money.
UberX and Lyft are still magnitudes cheaper than regular taxis. I think there is plenty of room to raise fares. Do it before it's too late.
I don't know how accurate this is, but take a look
"That’s not even a tenth of the $0.20 share price Juno advertised to drivers in recruiting materials last summer. Two other contracts seen by Quartz offered $100 payments for 1,604 and 3,580 shares respectively, or 2.8 cents and 6.2 cents per share, suggesting that there may have been a minimum payment of $100."

This guy got $200-300.

That's ok. Uber will probably just offer yellow cars. or "UberYellow." Then we are done.
So Uber will just be the taxi company. It's a full circle.
You forgot the Service Dog Scam, where every pet brought on board is a service dog. ...or worse, "emotional support animal."
what are you smoking.
no, they are in the not following rules and regulation business.
What the heck is Juno.
Coz it's funny. Friends giving each other a hard time. Sometimes, when people have power and access to restricted information, they want to show off.
For those of you who don't remember.
So, making out lands somewhere between 3 and 4.
Yep. It's called capitalism. and law of supply-and-demand. This article just shows you can make anything sound bad (or good).
At this point, no one will kill Uber. Regardless of what happens, they will survive in one shape or another, whether it's the technology, employees, office buildings, users, drivers, assets they own, investors, etc. etc. When a company reaches a certain size, they will live on even if its under a different name.
Now, what might kill Uber the name and its branding? Well, it's difficult to believe that from happening, because we already use the word "Uber" in our daily lives. I think it's stuck and here to stay, folks.
Well, as long as the person can meet driver license requirements. Vision test and... and... what else is there?
Did some states implement a driving test for certain ages? I can't remember. They were talking about it when that grandpa mowed over a bunch of people in California a few years ago.
well, overal, yeah, it should. The whole reason Uber is investing in Autonomous Vehicle is to eliminate their drive expense. Sure, they are spending billions on developing these new cars, but the economy scale will take over, and then...
@Gurus, what about Vaping? are there policies on that?
Isn't that super illegal. I can't imagine uber being ok with that. or maybe they don't care
