Ok since a few people have wondered about this:
How much does it cost to charge a scooter? Less than you might think. Just to run some rough numbers:
The scooter batteries' capacities are reported to be about 8800mAh at 36V. We can convert this to watt hours: 8800 * 36 / 1000 = 316.8Wh
Electricity costs on average of 12 cents per kilowatt hour (ie. 1000 watt hours) in the US. So, the cost of charging one of these scooters from empty is going to be something like:
(316.8 / 1000) * 12 = 4 cents
It's probably a bit more than that since chargers are not 100% efficient. And, the cost of electricity varies between different locations, so take this with a grain of salt. But it's safe to say the electricity cost of charging these things is not something to worry much about.
Hello, we are not a taxi company and cannot send cars. I think you should call a local taxi company to see if they can help you. Laidley Taxi service is phone number 0408 786 872
How did it go?
Obi is a great app with a great team behind it!
Per ride.
Prices listed are per car.
For your doctor appointments, you should ask your doctor if they work with any Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) providers. These are services that might use Uber or Lyft or any number of smaller providers to get patients to and from their appointments. Often insurance will cover some of it too.
For personal appointments and stuff I would probably just use Uber. It should be readily available in your area. After your appointment you'd use the app to hail a ride home, and probably just have to wait 5-10 minutes for the ride.
I think any rideshare driver worth their salt will be happy to help, within reason.
Estimates are one-way.
Price is for the entire ride, not per person.
Yeah generally it's just 2 separate trips. The first driver leaves. Hail a new ride when you need to go home.
No. Just make sure you order a vehicle big enough to fit your luggage from whichever ride share service you choose, of course.
Click the tabs at the top.
I think uberx will be fine.
Lyft has no monthly or annual fee. You only pay for rides taken.
Sounds like they messed up... I have no idea.
I'm so sorry that happened to your daughter. Welcome to the age of the gig economy. So many conveniences, but reliability is a huge issue.
I don't know why she would have had to wait so long. It doesn't make sense.
Yes, rates are one way.
Hi! You can either click on the checkbox to toggle it, or click on the "Book Ahead" button at the top of the listings to turn it off.
If you don't already have Uber or Lyft set up, I'd suggest you call a cab company. I'm sure they d be happy to take you. Best of luck.
Usually on android phones you can save a screenshot by holding the power button and the volume down button at the same time.
