How to Schedule Lyft Rides in Advance

Are you a frequent Lyft rider looking for ways to plan your travel ahead of time? Lyft recently introduced a feature that allows you to schedule your Lyft ride ahead of time! Here's how.

After opening the Lyft app, enter your current location and your final destination. Then, click on the calendar icon shown above.



The Lyft app will populate a list of times available. You will be given the option to select the time frame that you want to schedule your ride for. After pressing "set pick up time", Lyft will automatically schedule your ride for the desired time. …

Why Does Uber Want My Location?

In case you haven't heard, Uber introduced a new update that allows the rideshare giant to track your location, even after you close the Uber app. This application feature prompts you to agree to giving Uber your location up to 5 minutes after your ride is finished. Curious as to why the company is interested in your location? So were we!
