You can’t trust anything Lyft says(I think Uber is okay!) LYFT SUCKS! Trying to talk to Lyft Support is close to impossible! I consider Lyft to almost as evil as our President (Trump)!
Sorry bsprings! My heart goes out to you ! Lyft could care less about us drivers! I hope you have found alternative means of survival because if you wait on Lyft to help you, you’re out of luck! I will say prayers for you and send out best wishes and good karma requests as well!

Where we are in upstate NY, we get rides across the lake to Burlington Vermont. Uber does not charge the customers in the app ($15.75)and since we are not allowed to pick up in another state we have to dead head back and also pay for the $10.75 ferry toll back. I have to tell customers that they have to pay me $25 just to cover fares because Uber and Lyft do not care at all about us drivers. I have told them so many times that I have given up. Lyft cut me off from driving because my security check by CHECKR could not get a response these last 4 or 5 months so, what’s the difference? I told them my only alternative was suicide and they said, Good, Have A Great Day! And I never had less than a 5 star rating in a whole year worth of rides with Lyft!

I was out and about yesterday running errands for some people who can’t get out. While doing that I was online with Uber and Lyft for almost three hours in upstate New York. Didn’t get one ping, very depressing! Nobody going anywhere! Hope Everyone out there is well, do your best to stay safe and if you can, say a little prayer for me and all of us! Thanks!😊
No Mom! You are not wrong - I think that drivers should tip MORE than our average riders. That being said, stingy tipping drivers prove that there’s lots of jackasses in all lines of work! Hope you and yours are well and you are making lots of money because you are so nice !
Hi Fux, tips are their own reward. Tips have nothing to do with your rating, but at least you can spend your tips on something/anything. Your rating gets you nothing! So, good job and buy yourself something nice!

I agree with everything you said except for the ‘gouging’ comment. ( See My thread about driving in extreme weather, please.)
They probably sent the snow message to drivers in the Caribbean ! (Sorry, couldn’t resist!) Never got one where I am.

I have been driving for a year - I’m a Diamond Uber driver with a 4.98 average, a Lyft driver with a 5.0 average and I don’t even know how to find a passenger’s rating on either ! Must be a big city thing! Out here in the boonies I take everybody everywhere!
It takes a while to go up or down Fuxchu because your rating is an average of your last 500 rated trips. Hang in there - in the long run - your average should stay solid, one or two bad ratings will not hurt you! Good Luck!

Tire was stuck underneath the rear hatch of the Tahoe and there was no way to loosen it. I called Uber Support after I could not find any other options on the App - closest I could find was Crashed Vehicle. I tried to get help from Uber but they were out of service where I was. I called my Insurance’s assistance line and they sent the tow truck to the wrong location even though my passenger and State Police heard me give correct location. Then NY State Trooper called another wrecker and they came within half an hour while the trooper sat behind us making sure cars did not get too close. My wife drove over 60 miles round trip taking my passenger and her grandson home and Uber says ‘That was nice!’ I had to pay $216 out of pocket for my tow and today paid $266 for a new tire and rotation. Now, Uber won’t let me work until their ‘team’ reviews everything!Ugh! Thanks for the help LG-PA! Pray for me !😊
