Last week in Part I, I wrote about the difference between Uber and Lyft’s pay structure when it comes to Uber’s Penny Surge (Flat Rate Surge) and Lyft’s PPZ (Personal Power Zones). Last month Uber announced that they would be rolling out e-mopeds in Paris during the month of November, 2019. Through a partnership with French start-up, Cityscoot, users will be able to book and pay for their e-moped directly through the Uber app.
This will be the first time that Uber is offering e-mopeds on their platform and according to their press release they view this as “another step towards our goal to become a one-stop shop for all transportation needs”.
