Last week in Part I, I wrote about the difference between Uber and Lyft’s pay structure when it comes to Uber’s Penny Surge (Flat Rate Surge) and Lyft’s PPZ (Personal Power Zones). Our scoreboard is Uber=2 and Lyft=0! Last month Uber announced that they would be rolling out e-mopeds in Paris during the month of November, 2019. Through a partnership with French start-up, Cityscoot, users will be able to book and pay for their e-moped directly through the Uber app.

This will be the first time that Uber is offering e-mopeds on their platform and according to their press release they view this as “another step towards our goal to become a one-stop shop for all transportation needs”.
