Lyft Phone Number: How to Contact Lyft for Help

Looking for a phone number to contact Lyft? A 24/7 hotline does exist for Lyft in cases of accidents, citations, and safety incidents. Lyft specifies these as urgent situations in need of immediate contact. Any other situation does not require placing a call with the hotline. Before calling Lyft, if you are in a dangerous situation or someone’s safety is at risk, call 911 or the local authorities before contacting Lyft. Safety should be the number one priority. If you are in an accident, have a citation, or a safety incident, you need to go to the page “Report an accident, safety incident, or citation,” click "Report an Accident", enter your phone number (including your area code) and once again click on "Report an Accident" to submit your number. You should receive a call from Lyft within a few seconds. Only use this when you absolutely need assistance immediately. 

If you have a less urgent problem or question, Lyft has an extensive Help Center tailored to help drivers and riders alike with problems big and small. When the Help Center does not solve the problem, you can contact Lyft through the Help Form on their website. Lyft employees trained and qualified support staff to make sure problems are solved quickly and efficiently whether it’s via phone or help form. 

Some concerns or problems are related to specific rides. If you are a driver and you had an issue with a specific ride, go to the “Earnings” tab within your app and click on the ride your problem pertains to. Then, click “Get Help” for more information. You can also click “Call Me” to speak directly with a Lyft representative. You do not need to enter your phone number. You should receive a phone call within two minutes of hitting the “Call Me” button. 

If you are a rider and need to address an issue with a specific ride, go to "Ride History" within the app and click on the ride in question. Then click on "Get Help" to find popular resources.

    Yesterday afternoon and error message popped up on my Lyft App - Your vehicle not approved to drive. This after driving all morning. Insurance is up-to-date. I try to contact Lyft, zero help.

    My son was going to get a Lyft ride to a store an hour ago. The cheapest ride is usually around 3.50- 6-50 plus a tip. Today the cheapest ride said 26.50. Why did the price jump so high. This is June 27, 2020. Please respond asap

    Amazing how on lyft it says I was charged 5$ for that cancel today but on my bank statement it says 24.19 was taken and def not put back soooo this didny help.

    hey, can anybody help me to say when my background check finish.???? I am not a new driver i am a a existing driver but they hold me for 3 weeks background check processing time which also almost ending.

    Lyft is charging my account for rides and services that don't show up on my ride history I've just realized this after going back over my bank statements and comparing them with lyfts hundreds of dollars taken out in small 3$ sometimes $6 they don't have 24/7 call center so no way to even contact them and no option to dispute charges I thought at first it was tips but I stopped tipping just to see. took I ride to store $8 shows up on account transactions in app but on bank card that trip cost me in little 2-4$ charges to total of $27!

    The fact that lyft doesn't have a full time customer service phone center makes their legitimacy as a business go down the drain. I have had multiple problems that their "email/messaging center" cannot solve... Either there isn't an option for the problem I'm having, or if I actually use the message service, they never contact me about my problem... Or if they do it is DAYS after I've already given up on the problem. I am so frustrated with lyft and uber BOTH for this ongoing problem... Plus, I am in a wheelchair, and there are many different aspects of the ride that I would usually get that I need to address BEFORE the ride even gets to me. Like, size of the van/wheelchair accessible vehicle, does it have proper restraints, and other more personal questions. I wanna say some really awful things about lyft and uber both right now.... But I won't. Just get it fixed!

    Unbelievable I booked a ride and twice you say the driver is on his way then twice both cancel the ride. Plate LQ 792 finally showed up I believe I should get my money back due to poor management, Deborah Lepore 401-204-5304 I want my money back

    I booked a ride in twice I was told to ride was on its way and twice they both canceled and then finally somebody shows up and I believe because of poor management I should get my money back. Or some kind of a credit for future rights I believe it's only right that you give me some kind of a return for my being inconvenienced.

    Today I had a doctors appt the ride there was great and I was on time. However my return ride was at 11 I was in the lab with needle drawing blood and they said my ride was there if I didn't go out she was leaving my nurse went out and told your driver I would be right out. She left me there...it took 3 hours for me to wait for return ride. Not happy. I am diabetic and blind. I have hummana they use Lyft. Bad day. Bad experience. Kendra Kirkland ChesapeKe VA

    I just had a guy I had to wait 10 min for refuse to drive me to the location specified on the app because he doesn’t get paid enough. Instead of simply not accepting the ride, he has me wait for him, then I load my stuff in the back sit down. He then asks me where I’m going then tells me he can’t go there because it’s too far and they don’t pay him enough. Then trying to contact Lyft about this is damn near impossible. About 5 days earlier I tried to request Lyft and eta was 10 min, 10 min later eta became 13 min. I was trying to catch a flight. Had to get Uber instead. I will no longer use Lyft.

    A driver for Lyft that has a license plate Number 3g0 1j0 Tall gated me fir several miles. When I let him pass I got up beside me to say don’t tailgate me. That he almost hit me, then he shot me a bird And use bad language... My number 615-830-1521
