1. Easy access is the number 1 priority. I will pay a few more cents per gallon for a gas station that is an easy in/out and on my way.
2. Not really applicable to me - I would guess you would have to advertise your loyalty program with signs and maybe in online forums like this one.
3. Occasionally but I tend to drive during busier rush hours so there is never much down time. If a driver has to wait they will generally wait around wherever their last drop off was or head to a high traffic area and wait. I have never heard of a driver driving out of their way to wait at a gas station.
4. Hmm, sometimes you will get a passenger who wants to go through the Wendy's drive thru but not often do they want to stop at a gas station. Some drivers also already carry snacks and waters.

Have you tried using the heat map feature in the partner app? When you turn your app on, you will see a heat map with different areas of your city shaded either yellow, orange, or red. These areas show you at a high level the demand for rides in different locations around your city. When I started driving I would just constantly monitor the heat map to determine the best times and places to drive.
Full Circle! Curious, do you find the term "hack" offensive. I have known some cab drivers who don't like that term. Same goes for "Cabbie". What are your thoughts?
I pay for the basic wash about once a week but I am not putting extra money into the details like rim cleaning - not worth it.
Between the two if the distance is the same you will end up making about the same amount of money, however, as someone else mentioned there is more downtime with delivery (waiting for food, up and down apartment steps, etc) so it does end up being less in the end. However, if you would rather not deal with passengers in your car this may be worth it to you.
Uber currently doesn't allow temporary city changes though I am not sure why you couldn't request a permanent city change twice so that you can still earn income over those months you are in CT.
Keep in mind that you may have to get your car inspected each time you change locations which will eat into your earnings. Depending on the state you also may have to register your car in the new state which wouldn't be worth it, IMO, for a couple months.

So you gave someone a ride but it was marked as cancelled ride? Or you never actually gave the ride. TBH, I would just take the loss (I know it sucks), it's only $4-6 bucks and not worth the headache for dealing with Lyft

As far as I know Uber has no policy for or against drivers bringing service dogs. I would think it would be ok though some riders might complain. I would definitely keep the dog up front at all times. She might also run into issues where she can't fit large groups who need that front seat for a passenger, not sure how she would deal with that. Though right now with covid that wouldn't be a problem.
Disgusting. I would be pissed too. This has happened to me before $80 for a moderate mess, $150 for a major mess but really the only difference between the two is whether the mess is in "hard to clean places" like air vents or cracks. Ridiculous IMO as either way we are scrubbing up vomit. Im not saying you should make the mess look worse next time to get the $150 but Im not saying that it hasn't crossed my mind to do before... :)

Not sure what they mean by "suffered degrading work conditions"? I mean every uber drivers suffers from the degrading nature of the work, I hardly think that is unique to these Italy Uber Eats drivers.
Keep in mind this was all before Covid....
I would love to see how he is doing now 😂
