Driver here. Uber cars are technically supposed to be smoke-free. But like brownbear said, even if that rule was adhered to, you don't know the car's history. One thing you could do is call the driver after you request the ride (you can call via the app), and ask them, explaining that any previous smokers in the car at all would give you a bad reaction. Most drivers would be honest about it since they don't want a bad rating. They would rather you cancel the ride than get a 1 star rating.
This dude really does rock. Wow!
maybe if I understood it I could agree or disagree with you. I think most people just don't get it.
So instead of having loads of owner-driven cars driving around looking for parking, you have loads of ubers driving around looking for fares. Makes sense.
What happens if you take a half hour break in the middle? Article is not clear. Can I drive for 8 hours, take a quick break, and then go drive for another 12?
Don't worry, I'll take it off your hands.
Yeah but to be fair, in detroit you can buy a house for like $500 so there's that. If you are willing to reinstall all the copper pipe the junkies tore out years ago and fix up the burned out bits and not have police protection, that is.
the answer is simple the way I see it. Money talks.
bottom line is rideshares are a commodity. That's juno's problem. And everyone's problem. Uber just has a huge first mover advantage.
I thought it was kind of weird when they got into it. I think selling it off is probably a good move, so they can stick to what they know best and not turn into a car dealership on the side.
Is grab a viable Uber competitor? Can they come to the US and give Uber a reason to compete please??
Would you want a couple of strangers making out in the back of your car?
Talk or don't talk. Up to you. You're the one paying.
Right, they're all sociopaths. LOL
That's a good point, LOL. Most of those drivers are probably driving for uber now anyways.
Farting can sometimes be a cry for help.
Cool so can I hail an uber on the street now??
There isn't really much you can do except do your best to protect yourself from future hacks. Use different passwords on each site. Try using a password manager to keep track of them all.
This is shameful. Our data is OUT THERE now. Who's to say these guys won't just release it anyways? Or sell it to someone else on the sly?
I don't know, call them on the phone? It's right there in the question!!
Texting and driving is illegal in most states (and should be). Why does Uber even have this option?? It makes no sense. It makes the roads less safe.
